Pre-Approval
Every check ride requires that the DPE gets a pre-approval and associated pre-approval number from the Designee Management System (DMS) at least 24 hours prior to any check ride. This requires some administrative time to complete for each scheduled check ride. The cost of this is included in the check ride fee. If the date and time are changed due to the non-weather related circumstances, and a second pre-approval is required, an additional $50 will be added.
